1. What does State Certified Material mean?

When a product is considered to be State certified, it has had to pass a series of quality tests set forth and tested by the state. Usually, this will involve materials passing through a series of 7 different size screens. Depending on how much passes through each screen determines the quality and type of product.

2. Would I be able to pickup material at one of your locations if I didnt need a full truck load?

YES! We sell material by the yard we do have a scale on premisiss if you prefer for materials sold by the ton. Most domestic full size pickups can hold 1.5 cubic yard of material in their bed.

3. What is a Yard?

A Yard is a common measurement used in the construction industry that equates to about 1.3-1.5 tons of material depending on density. Most small front end loader buckets hold 1 yard of material at a time when full.

4. Do you sell Winter Road Mix to homeowners and landscapers?

Yes, but be careful. Winter Road Mix is a blend of our screened sand with rock salt which works great on asphalt or stone driveways, however, rock salt can be detrimental if spread on concrete walkways or drives.
