Washed sand:(Concrete Sand, Clean Sand)

  Sand that has been "washed" with water through the wash plant. It has no silt, is somewhat course. The sand will not clump up, and water will runthrough it.

Used for: Play areas, Septic sand,   Beaches, Under pools, Under brick walkways, in riding rings, and in Concrete.

Screeened Sand:

  Sand that is run through a screener there are some rocks but none over 1/4"

Used for: Under pools, Beaches, Bedding utilities, Riding rings.

Mason Sand:(Brick Sand)

Very fine sand with a medium silt content.

Used for: Masonry, Beaches

D.O.T. Road Sand: (Sand/Salt mix)
